The design concept began with a desire to create a dining area distinct from yet harmonious with the residence’s grand living room. Traditional wood surfaces felt visually heavy against the residence’s neutral palette and expansive glass windows. Instead, the designer introduced a transparent glass tabletop for Molteni&C’s Arc Table, allowing its bold geometric base to remain the sculptural centerpiece.

Seating plays a pivotal role in the narrative. Knoll’s Platner armchairs, with their refined metallic curves, embody timeless elegance and provide tactile comfort. Behind the arrangement, the Phantom Mirror by Fiam reflects both daylight and skyline, expanding spatial perception while acting as an artwork in itself. To avoid visual redundancy with pendant lights elsewhere in the home, the Fontana Arte Re floor lamp was chosen, creating a delicate balance of function and visual artistry. Together, these elements create a dining space that feels intimate yet unmistakably luxurious.
